The Southfields Cup

Veterans GLTC Plate

The Format
We have both open events and handicapped events, using our own points handicap system, which is worked out by the Committee to make the event as even as possible. The handicap points system used by the club can mean someone receiving points, whilst their opponent being minus points (owing). This is explained at the bottom of this page.

Arranging Matches
Each round is given a date, when the matches should be played by, and the onus is on the person drawn first, to arrange the fixtures.

When arranging matches you should take into account the playing arrangements page. In particular you should AVOID arranging any Tournament matches when adult social is taking place and only one match should be scheduled during the Wednesday night match practice which starts at 6pm.

When a match has been arranged, you should put the date and time on the tournament sheet in the Clubhouse.
